Traditional herringbone teeth usually use processes such as hobbing, finger/index milling, combing, and gear shaping. Due to the limitations of traditional machining equipment and tools, the machining efficiency is low and the flexibility is poor, making it unsuitable for special situations such as zero backlash and tooth profile compensation. The SKXCR series CNC herringbone gear milling center can meet the high-precision flexible machining of GB7-8 precision herringbone gears.
 

  • Feature 1:Abundant functionality

    1. Capable of machining zero backlash herringbone teeth.

    2. Standard end milling cutter, no custom tool required.。

    3. Equipped with arbitrary tooth shape and tooth direction modification functions.

    4. It can achieve machining of irregular tooth surfaces, point line meshing, arc teeth, etc.

    5. Specific shape of the gear face and tooth chamfer.

    6. Capable of meeting the hard tooth surface finish milling.

    7. The envelope machining accuracy of the rod cutter can reach GB7 level.

     

    Feature 2:High Precision Turn/Rotary-Table

    1. The double worm gear turn/ rotary-table can achieve zero clearance transmission, with a repeated positioning accuracy of 3 inches and a indexing accuracy of 6 inches.

    2. The circumferential stiffness of the turn/rotary-table reaches 400N/μm, High dynamic accuracy.

    3. The load-bearing stiffness and repeated positioning accuracy of the static pressure workbench/ table have been greatly improved, meeting the requirements of machining large and heavy-duty gears.

     

    Feature 3:High Precision Feeding System

    1. The combination of rolling guide rail and sliding guide rail not only satisfies the heavy-duty cutting of end mills, but also achieves high-speed and accurate positioning of end mills.

    2. The Y-axis is supported by high-precision heavy-duty roller tracks.

    2. Optimization of turn/rotary-table indexing method: evenly distributed indexing and symmetrical indexing.

    3. Adopting equal residual cutting path planning has high efficiency and good accuracy.

    4. The NC program comes with a 3D tool compensation function.
